Heaven

Experimental Sound Project

This piece forms part of my final project investigating how sound design can create distinct environments such as Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory within a video game context. Visual material is taken from Elden Ring, with rights belonging to FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

For Heaven, I focused on openness and clarity. I wanted the space to feel calm and expansive, with sound that drifts rather than demands attention. The atmosphere is intentionally minimal, allowing each element to feel light and spaced out.

My role on it
I created the full soundscape using original recordings. Softer textures and gentle layering were key, alongside subtle synthesiser elements to enhance the sense of space. Reverb and processing helped create an airy, weightless environment without overwhelming the listener.
