About Me:

I’ve always listened to the world a bit differently. That’s what pushed me towards sound and creating audio that feels textured, immersive, and slightly unexpected.
Hi, I’m Lily Field. I’m a filmmaker and sound recordist, and I’m passionate in the way sound shapes the way we feel.
For me audio constructs immersion of a scene, not just supports it. I love working with field recordings, foley, and textures, using everyday sounds and turning them into something more expressive.
I tend to experiment a lot with layering, distorting, and playing with sound to see how far it can go. For me, sound is a big part of storytelling, and I enjoy letting it take the lead in unexpected ways.
I’m especially drawn to outdoor projects, particularly films, documentaries, and branded content focused on travel, adventure, and snowboarding. I love capturing the atmosphere of natural landscapes and the emotion of people pushing beyond their comfort zones.
For me, sound is about making people feel present in a story — creating experiences that inspire curiosity, connection, and adventure long after they’ve watched them.
