Borneo

A visual study of Borneo’s environments, developed through documentary photography during a conservation project. Focusing on atmosphere, colour, and narrative, the series explores how place can be felt as much as seen—an idea that continues to influence my approach to recording and designing sound. This project later inspired Market Melodies, a soundscape built from environmental texture, rhythm, and the sonic character of everyday spaces.
